Spokane Chapter IAAP
International Association of Administrative Professionals
Welcome to the Lilac City's IAAP Chapter!
We are proud to be a leader in developing Administrative Professionals' careers in Eastern Washington.
History
Our chapter was established in September of 1946 in Spokane, Washington. Our Association was first recognized under the name of National Secretaries Association (NSA). As boundaries melted away and the global business world emerged it became know as Professional Secretaries International (PSI) in the 1980s. Continued growth and change in the profession in the 1990s made it necessary to encompass all fields of office and administrative professionals worldwide. The Association's name then evolved into International Association of Administrative Professionals (IAAP) which better reflects the true nature of today's office professionals.
Chapter Mission
To preserve the changing identity of office professionals by providing professional development through education and networking.
Chapter Values
We value Commitment, Dedication, Growth, Harmony, and Respect.
